Q. Are your reusable bags safe for food?
A. Yes! Our bags are certified food-safe and free of lead, BPA and phthalates. Our unique lining and design keep food incredibly fresh. We’ve been using them for our own kids for a few years now and feel entirely confident in the safety of our bags, both as savvy businesswoman and concerned mothers.
Q. Could you be a little bit more specific about the lining used in two+two’s products?
A. The proprietary lining in two+two’s reusable bags is manufactured without the use of BPA, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury and Phthalates.
The lining is EPA and CPSIA compliant for Lead, Cadmium, Mercury and Arsenic content (per ASTM D-1976-07, using EPA 3052 digestion.) These products are free of Phthalate plasticizers (DOP/DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DnOP) and meet CPSIA guidelines, using GC-MS method.
Just to be 100% sure we had the liner tested by and independent lab and it has passed the FDA’s Food Contact Safety Standards for food storage.
Q. What’s the best way to clean my reusable bag?
A. Simply turn inside out + rinse clean in the sink or machine wash + air dry. We recommend using unscented detergent.
Q. What can I use my reusable bags for?
A. Anything! They are so versatile and can be used for anything you’d use a plastic bag to tote around. Some of our favorite uses include zero-waste lunch + snacks, plus makeup, dog treats, crayons, wet swimsuits, diapers, toys + treasures, hair baubles, jewelry, vitamins, pet rocks + any other loose stuff you want to drag along.
